Stage Door Productions Presents
A Christmas Carol
Fredericksburg, VA, November 18, 2009 - Stage Door Productions presents A Christmas Carol by Michael Paller. This special production is produced by special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc.
Based on the book by Charles Dickens; the play is fictional about Dickens writing of the Christmas Carol. He enlists family and friends to act out the story in his attic room where he does his writing. The family and friends play the various characters in " A Christmas Carol" using costume pieces from a clothes horse and a trunk.
Sheila Clark, Director and Stage Door Productions Board Member says, "It is a different telling of this Christmas classic that is uniquely played out with our cast of 10."
You may recognize a few of the cast members from previous productions or from your local schools. Meet our cast, Charles Dickens, Joe Blackwell; Mark Lemon, Roy Jarnecke; Frederick Dickens, Matt Armentrout; Clarkson Stanfield, Jay Welch, Helen Hogarth, Lindsay Earnhardt; Charley Dickens, A. J. Breivik; Mrs. Stanfield, Emily Bragg; Catherine Dickens, Adrienne Daly; John Forster, Paul Michanczyk; and The Child played by Patrick Foreman.
Performances will be held at Germanna Community College, Fredericksburg Campus on December 4, 5, 11, 12, 18 and 19 at 8 p.m.
